iPEGS was created due to a need and desire to get away from using paper – not only from a environmental perspective but from an efficiency perspective. Business partners Adam Leese and Lee Morris had a heavily paper driven business – not only was this paper usage highly costly to their business both in terms of material, postage, travel and wasted time but it also posed a number of significant risks. Their business was predominately government funded which required a huge amount of paperwork to be completed and processed quickly to ensure payment. This of course was not the case with paper forms going missing, unreadable handwriting, missing information and of course delays actually getting the forms back to the office – which of course required physically driving or posting the paper based forms.
There had to be another way!
So in 2012 the idea of iPEGS was born and they began to develop an application that could replace their paper based forms and processes. In October 2013 the first version of the iPEGS Direct App went live on the App Store and within weeks the app had been downloaded in over 100 countries.
Since then the business and the products have grown and evolved and we continue to develop and improve. Our aim is to provide a flexible paperless solution that works across multiple sectors and industries.
The original iPEGS Direct App was developed to enable user to access and complete forms offline – when out in the field or on a face-to-face basis. We then identified a need to be able to send forms remotely to customers and employees and so iPEGS Remote was born and so we continue to add new features and options as we learn more about our customers needs. As technology advances and changes we continue to innovate to ensure that our customers can take the maximum advantage of what is available today.
We strongly believe in helping businesses and organisations to improve efficiency but we are also committed to making the world a better place by reducing paper usage. Paper has a huge environmental impact so the sooner we start to change our habits by utilising the technology we have available to us the better.
